Thank You Parents of Pinnacle

Last week's Boots and Heels fundraiser was amazing!  Thank you to Kim Brady and the entire Boots and Heels Committee for all your had work.  It was a wonderful night of food, fun, and fund raising.  Because of the work our parents do, Pinnacle High School will continue to provide our students with the very best that North Phoenix has to offer.

Parent Teacher Conferences

PHS wants to welcome our parents to conferences this Monday, November 9th from 6:00 - 8:00pm.  The Pinnacle teachers and counselors will be in the gymnasiums to take a few minutes to speak with you about your child's progress.  Your son or daughter will be bringing home more information about conferences this afternoon so be sure to ask them for it.

Thank you for all your support and we look forward to seeing you Monday night.

Come Celebrate PHS at Boots and Heels

Pinnacle High School Parents,

Pinnacle High School's only school-wide fund raiser is coming up on November 14th at Dave and Busters in the Desert Ridge Marketplace.  Our "Boots and Heels" evening includes dinner, a tremendously popular silent auction, and a very exciting live auction.  Fabulous items from local and national businesses, restaurants, hotels/resorts, PHS clubs, staff, administration, and parents will be up for bid.  Of course some of the most popular items are still the Pinnacle parking passes (for students who will be juniors in 2010-11) and field seating for the 2010 graduation ceremony.

This is an extremely important night for Pinnacle.  The proceeds help pay for Project Grad, scholarships, staff appreciation, special programs, and club support.  This is your chance to help your school continue to shine as one of the best schools in the country!  To order tickets and to view our current catalog of items visit our Boots and Heels webpage at [ http://www.bootsandheels.info/ ]http://www.bootsandheels.info

Thank you for your support of Pinnacle High School and I look forward to seeing your continued support at Boots and Heels.

Pinnacle and the Flu

We do not have any health department confirmed cases of the H1N1 virus, though we have had cases of influenza reported to us.  Schools throughout the Valley, including our school, are seeing increasing cases of the flu as we do every year about this time.  There are several things you can do to help prevent the spread:
*  Keep your students home when they exhibit flu like symptoms.
*  Remind them to practice good hand washing hygiene and to cover coughs and sneezes with their elbows.
*  Consider having your child vaccinated against seasonal flu nad the novel H1N1 flu.

We are working with our nurse, district health service, and the district level administration to make sure that our students are safe.  If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
